The Nutcracker is a ballet based on the short story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffman. The story is about a young girl named Clara who receives a toy nutcracker from her godfather for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the nutcracker comes to life and takes Clara on a magical journey.
